Chapparrel, CO...LOL...I was thinking earlier when did Chaparrel become dominating in wrestling? HOXIE 15th? This might be the down year, then again some teams are not dual teams.

The Goddard freshman are for real and that showed this weekend. That team looked loaded to me and I would say they are certainly poised to make a run at the State Title.

Congrads to you coach Biems. How tough is it to dual Chaparrel then Valley Center then Goddard back to back to back. I thought that the kids were a little worn out for that Goddard dual. I don't think that it would have matter much though they are loaded. Again congrads to you and also the team.

Thanks Alex. It was nice to see you again.
I'd also like to say thank you to the great people in Colby. This is a first class operation. It is amazing to see how the town pulls together to support this event. The crowd was rowdy and very wrestling savvy.

There was a lot of most pins and outstanding wrestlers as they did it by pools and upper weights and lower weights some that I remember are... Lower weights Fastest pin pool C: Ty Caldwell 7 sec Lower Weights Most pins pool C: Chase Moses 4 pins Upper Weights fastest pin pool C: Brandon Bonewell 17 sec Upper Weights most pins pool C: Boaz Beard 4 or 5 pins not sure Lower weights outstanding wrestler pool C: Brad Traina
Those were all from Goddard and others that got awards were...
Garcia, Colby - outstanding wrestler Baker, Hoxie - outstanding wrestler Salee, VC - outstanding wrestler There was another kid from VC who got a fastest pin award but I don't remember his name
There are plenty more, those are just some that I can remember off the top of my head...
