125 at the classic was probly the toughest bracket there
Nick Shumate last year 103 classic champ
Adam Almager last year 119 classic champ
Jake Tanenbaum Last year 112 classic champ
There was 4 state placers 3 of them runner ups

The finals match was outstanding between Almaguer and Shumate. Shumate won 1-0 with an escape. Tanenbaum beat Henes from Sta 4-3.Jusin Broadbent MV beat Alex Quinn BM 9-5

The 125 wc at the classic, was no doubt the toughest class at the tourney. Nick Schumate of BVNW, voted Most Outstanding Senior Wrestler, deserved the honor. He has always consistently wrestled well during his high school career. Congrats Nick.

The 145 wc at the classic, was also very tough.
Taylor Sibala BVNW, won Most Outstanding Wrestler, at the classic. Taylor beat Hunter Madl, in the semi's and Andy Hurla is the final, both state placers. Taylor is a kid with athletic talent and lot's of heart. Congrats Taylor.

Gimme a break he got a bogus lost of control point from that ref in the 2nd period and then he hung on to win 1-0. ALmager was giving him all he could handle

Shumate indeed did hang on but he did what he had to do to win-Almaguer is an OUTSTANDING wrestler.
125 was amazing-how many tournaments do you know where a kid that has taken 2nd at state two years in a row is the 6th seed!

the almaguer-shumate match in the finals was easily one of the best wrestling matches i've watched in a long time. congrats to all those guys that was an insane bracket.
