What is the format for regionals? Start times& rounds wrestled on Friday? Do all regionals have the same formats and time frames??

The Eudora Regional is the same as Chapman and Russell in format, but certainly not in difficulty. :rolleyes:

Does anyone else have an answer? Something a little more specific, and less attitude. We are trying to figure out what time to take off work, schedule babysitters, etc. I would really appreciate any helpful information. Thanks

If they are all the same then you can go by this (I would imagine they are all similiar since the format hasn't changed in our 4 years) - it will start Friday at 4:00 with the first round. They will then run one round on each side of the bracket. Saturday morning it usually begins at 9:00. I'm thinking the tournament has ended around 7:30-8:00, but my memory on exact times is foggy. I know these times aren't exact, but should give you a basic idea of what to expect.

I never understood why they run the semis in the morning at regionals?? I always wondered why it's not formated the same as the state tournament. Semis Friday night, consolations the next morning.
