Is it true that the Derby regional finals will not start until 6:30 p.m.? If so, I thought that all regionals must start basically on the same timeline… Also if this to be true it will make for a very long day for the three schools from up north (Manhattan, Junction City and Washburn Rural) We are coming to wrestle not get involved in some kind of show case event! The next weekend is for all the whistles and bells.

Well thats ok - you guys will probably be wrestling from the back side anyways!! "JUST KIDDING"!!!!! I couldn't resist. Does anyone know what the schedule for the day will be?

Yep, here's the schedule for the Derby Regional:

Weigh-ins 7:00-8:00am
Scratch Meeting 8:00am
Wrestling (2 mats) 9:00am Championship Quarterfinals
12:30pm Championship Semifinals
2:15pm Consolation Quarterfinals
4:00pm Consolation Semifinals
5:30pm Consolation Finals
(1 mat) 6:30pm Championship Finals

I have no dought that the folks at Derby will do a fine job and will be very accommodating to all involved. I personally appreciate any efforts to adjust the schedule… if not, lets have a great day!
