The KWCA has scheduled this years Senior Classic for Sunday, March 19, 2006 at Abilene High School, Abilene, Kansas.

I personally am glad to see the Senior Classic moved to a Sunday. Now if we could just get it back towards the middle of the state geographically.

Salina is pretty much in the middle of the state and Abilene is 20 min from there.

If your coming from KC its going to take about 2 and 1/2 hours. If your coming from goodland its gonna take over 4 hours. SO its closer to the middle but still their is a diffrence, what happend to having it that Friday of kids state in topeka. I really liked that got a lot of fans there that you probally wont get in Abilene.

The date of the Senior Nationals in Pennsylvania and the USAW Kansas Kids State Wrestling Championships conflict forcing the KWCA to move the date in order to give the athletes attending the Senior Nationals the opportunity to also participate in the Senior Classic.
