ely and shumate are on the same side of the bracket, so they will not finish 1 and 2

Top half of the bracket is loaded with depth bottom half has 2 studs-
top half quarter finals-Freeman vs. Tanenbaum
Hogan vs. Almaguer

Bottom half semis: Shumate vs. Ely

This will be a great bracket to watch!

Well renegade, at least you got Shumate's score correct! Maybe you were subconsciously thinking of a handicap match where Ely had to score 2 for 1.
