What's happened to Salina Central? They obviously have athletes. It was not that long ago that they were one of the teams to beat. Is it a situation where football demands that they be in the weight room? I saw that Dieners kid wrestles, so I assume that he didn't mind his kids wrestling. I saw SC at Hays, and I just thought that they were splitting teams that weekend or had too many points. Is the Salina kids program still strong, or did it fall off? I'm not bashing anyone, just curious. Usually, the strong stay strong and the weak stay weak, given to nornal fluctuations in athletes.

Correction made to original list of qualifiers...Chet Barnett wrestles for Paola, not for Pittsburg.

I don't know about the rest of the year at Salina Central, but they had 1 kid win 1 consolation match 5-0 for their single point at the McPherson Regional. 1 point for the whole tournament. I think Football did go to their brains, especially with their coach going to Gardner!
I predict anothr BC title, followed by Lansing, STA and Ark City (who always shows up at state!).

Yes valley center has to be in the top three but I have a feeling they won't get the support at the light weights to make a serious run for the title, Bishop carrol will be my pick but you have to look at st thomas because they all have pretty good seeds with that killer regional they came out of lol.
