Who do you think will win the 4A team title? There are many teams who are gonna be close including goodland, abilene, colby, clay center, andale, and columbus.

I think Andale will definitely be tough to beat now that they have their weaker weights gone.

I agree 100% Curtis, but when Goodland & Colby both qualify 11 wrestlers it's almost hard to bet against them at all costs.

I really don't see Goodland winning. They may have 11 qualified, but I would only bet on Bahe, Schields, Doxon, and Goodley to place with some others winning a few matches. My top 3 in no order are Abilene, Colby, and Clay Center.

Goodland should never be counted out, haven't they had the most top 3 finishes in the last 5 years or so? I think they should never be overlooked. Also you guys need to look into how hard of draws teams have, sometimes a team can do very well based off draws, I glanced at some teams draws, but I know Abilene had some good draws. I'll look more later though.

I am telling you right now that Andale is the team to beat. Andale has 5 potential finalist in Cox, Fisher, Fisher, Schroeder and Eck. I think that only 3 of these will get in the finals, but that should be enough with the points that the other get getting 3rd or 4th also Thoman will score them some points.

Not saying Goodland will definitely win it, but in response to Aaron's post--1997-first:1998-second;1999-third;2000-first;2001-eighth;2002-second;2003-second;2004-third;2005-third.FYI

It's going to come down to columbus and andale. Other teams qualified more, but these two both have 3 guys that should be in the finals and all 5 others should medal. I'm betting it comes down to extra team pts for pins, etc...
1.Columbus
2.Andale

Andale did get stuck with difficult draws but with their schedules they hopefully can deal with it id say the most dangerous match for Andales elite five is the Schroeder Elliot match

Andale has a very good chance at 5 finalist granted, Colby too has a good shot at 2 champions, plus very solid wrestlers coming out the back in Ludke, Olson, and Withington. I am still thinking Colby is the team to beat, having eleven kids is going to rack up major points.

Columbus? Who is their hopefuls? I know Ellison is the only real possible finalists/champion pick, and it takes more than one to win, considering the firepower everyone else has.

Andale is stacked to the gills no doubt. They qualified eight, so they're going to need some backside help to keep up with the other guns, but they can do it.

I still Pick 1)Colby 2)Abilene 3)Andale 4)Goodland

Rose Hill only qualified 6, but Bowen, Seimer, and Hynick should all 3 be in the finals. Shellhammer and Foresberg should both place as well. They won't be too far out of top 5. That's pretty impressive considering they won a total of 4-5 matches at state last year.

I'm not saying Goodland will not be up there, I just don't feel they are quite as stacked as in recent years, but as Sweazy and mommy said, with 10 (Baumfaulk is out with a shoulder seperation at 171) and possible good draws, it's hard to overlook them. I'll definitely pick them to finish somewhere in the top 5.

Ya ellison is there, But i think you're forgetting the regional wrestler of the year from their regional, napier. I said it once and i'll say it again. They have a real legit shot at 3 in the finals and the other 5 they qualifiied all should medal. So i'm going to guess that extra points for pins, etc.. will come in to the equation at the end. Just my guess though.
Here's the deal , We can sit here and talk about it all day long, but it's high school kids. You AlMOST never know who is going to show up and be tough, both mentally and physically. I really think 4A is the cream of the crop in the state this year team wise. Hope they don't prove me wrong.

considering that the state champ did lose to the rose hill 112 pounder you really think he wont even place. Going from beating a statechamp to not even placing i SERIOUSLY doubt it.
