Well at the Derby tourney Tommy lost to Ashmore 2-1...He let him up in the 3rd in hopes of getting a takedown...

At the BVNW tourney I lost 3-1...a lot of good offense and a couple takedowns going out-of-bounds...

I'm going to avoid the Goddard matches, because there were too many that I loved watching.

At the Senior Classic I thought Naccarato was a BEAST! He got about a 1 inch gash above his eye. Blood was everywhere! His dad came on the mat, saw the rip in his son's dome, and says "Oh, he's fine, just tape him up." Justin acted like it was nothing more than an inconvenience and proceeded to beat a very tough opponent. I probably would have passed out from all of the blood if it were mine. Tough Kid!

I thought the Roe v. Cotton match was one of the most action packed of the year. It could have went either way on several flurries. Two studs for sure.

Blake Long and Boaz Beard at Derby was pretty good as well, at least one of those that still sticks in my mind.

well I wrestled him three times this year...first match up was 5-1....its was 3-1 with 30secs left and i went for a desperation takedown and got taken down myself...second was at bvnw...then our last match up at goddard i got thrown in a headlock....was on my back for 1:30 in the first period...then went on to loose 11-1...so i avoided it 2 outta 3 times..

Who is DeAngelo Brooks (what school?) Also I think if Elliot is mentioned in any match it has to be Elliot v. Allen of Clay Center at State.

I don't know if they would be classified as the best matches, but as someone that had to sit in a chair watch them, they certainly were the most exciting as a coach were the matches between Remington's Sophomore Cameron Motter and Bluestem's Senior Jeremy Vancil.

Vancil won the first go around 2-2 in double overtime and Motter won the next two 4-2. Though the low score may not indicate it, all three matches showed some aggressive wrestling. Motter ended up a regional champion and Vancil ended up taking 4th in the state at 3A-1A, so both wrestlers had outstanding seasons. The mutual repsect that these two have gained for each other is impressive, and in a lot of ways that what wrestling is about.
