Michael Poland, our freshman varsity 103lbs actually only weighs around 90lbs. He will be doing kids state as well but I am not sure what weight group. By the way, he did get over 20 wins this season....not too shaby being a varsity freshman wrestler and giving up 10lbs a match.

Im pretty sure Zach Cemean (3-2-1a state finalist) and Bryan Brewer will be in the 105 or 110 weight class for 16 and under

Liam Kastor gave up a lot of weight as a freshman in 2003 (over 10 lbs.), managed to qualify for the high school state tournament, but dropped down to 90 for kids' state and won it handily. All kids who are struggling at being underweight in high school might have an advantage when they get to kids' competition:
they've had to wrestle bigger guys all season,
and it makes them tougher.

Congrats to all who won in Park City.
