Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Brute Nationals / Senior Nationals Practice 3/20/06 Week

The Wizzers, Brute Nationals, and Senior Nationals Wichita group will be having practice on Tuesday, (today) and Thursday at Church at the Cross located at 2901 W. Taft. This is off of Kellogg and Meridian or West, across from Kansas Newman and Friends University. It is where the Newman practices. I want to give a big thank you to The Greater Gold Wrestling Club, Dan Atkinson and the church for opening up their facility for us to use these next couple of days while our paperwork hopefully comes through for the Wizzers. Thanks also to Wichita Public Schools and South High for being patient with us and allowing us use of facilities once everything is taken care of. I could thank a lot of folks but the last 24 hours has been rather stressful trying to get things taken care of.

We will plan on having Coach Warren Applegate there tonight to work with the team. Spectators are welcome to come and Coach Applegate stated that we would be welcome to video the clinic he will be conducting. Practice will be from 6:30-8:30 and Coach Atkinson and Greater Gold will have a brief devotional, presentation they give as is their custom prior to practice.

Practice Thursday night at the same place. I will be at NCAA's but Curtis Chenoweth will be running practice along with Coach Detmer, Coach Caldwell, possibly Coach Nichols from York College and several others. Should be fun. Also still working on possible practice for each day next week will, let everyone know hopefully today.

There will be practice this week from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, I wanted to go earlier but this will still work and allow others to be there. Practice this week will be at Church of the cross. Phone # for information is 316-945-8485. Practice will be at Church of the Cross across from Kansas Newman.
