That's it for the wrestling this evening! I know there are a few matches that I didn't get and we will try to get those later!

I visited with the champ, Cody Garcia, Taplin and Marrs.

Randy, you didn't answer yet if there is wi-fi in the field house. Please let us know. Thanks!

YES, there is wi-fi in the field house. AND I could sure use some help tomorrow.

This evening it was tough, trying to keep up with four mats that had a Kansas competitor in most matches. And, a lot of the boys, I don't know yet, which causes a bit of confusion. But, I'm trying!

Tomorrow, with 140 wrestlers competing, it will be an absolute zoo!

I did have some great help this evening from Matt Mahan's Mom.

She was keeping an eye on me ... and yes Jason Bryant said I was his responsibility ... thanks to Swayz!

Is there a charge for the wireless? Is there easy access to electrical outlets once our batteries die? I can bring my laptop. Also, how are they about people bringing in drinks or bag searching?

No, there is not a charge for wireless. Yes, there is access to outlets along the top row. And, I did not see them checking bags!

Seeing how you’re are mature and the most senior Statesman of Kansas wrestling you should not need a chaperone. You’re a rather attractive silver fox… I’m sure there are quite a few mom’s keeping an EYE on you. Thanks for the updates I will be checking in from work tomorrow.

Not to plug another thread but I think this quote heard in Animal House fits.

"She should be good-looking, but we're willing to trade looks for a certain ... morally casual attitude"

... and I am not the most Senior statesman in Omaha. I did wake up, a tad before I wanted to, and who is in my room? Coach Skip Harrington!

Okay, we're set up in the venue, Sapp Fieldhouse on the campus of the University on Nebraska-Omaha. I've seen several of the Kansas faithful and we're getting ready for the parade.

Wrestling is scheduled to start at 9 am. I will try to update as best that I can but the first duties will be to the wrestlers! I hope you understand!!

... and I will try to give you a little extra flavor via this message board of the Team that got the biggest cheer ... Team Kansas!

There are around 890 wrestlers here, about 140 sport the Sunflower as their home.

I hope the boys got a good night sleep as they must come out early, with guns blazing!

I have to give an additional plug to Jason Bryant and his InterMat web site. He is sitting to my immediate right and is doing his own updates!
