How did Sophomore: Mallie Schuster (Pennsylvania) 140 get the OW for Sophomores and not Romero Cotten?

Just a hunch, but I'm guessing he got more votes.

Well yea on the votes, but my question what was the thinking...I would have been looking at match by match and how they did. Schuster had an OT match in the 1/4 finals or so. Romero pummeled everyone.

Maybe Cotton had a weak bracket and the other dude had a tough bracket?

Maybe the other dude had a lot of money and paid the voters . . .

Maybe the other dude had a dad who got to vote and this dad influence everyone in the room to vote for his boy . . .

Mallie Shuster is tough, i wrestled him last year at Brute in the Semifinals and beat him in the last 15 and i thre a headlock getting a takedown and three back points, ended up winning 9-8, but i do think Romero should get it, oh yea i forgot i was outstanding wrestler last year but Scott Elliot Teched his kid and i only beat my kid by a major. I was wondering the same thing like why Scott didn't get it instead of me
