For the record in 6A it will not matter what everyone here wishes or wants in the rankings. If the 6A coaches do not return the info sheets to the rankings official then it will be decided by him and him alone. A clue, if you are good enough to be ranked or know of someone who should be this upcoming season make it known. I will again state the fact if your coach does not participate you might not get ranked until after christmas. Goddard does have alot of quality wrestlers but they will have some holes to fill.In addition I think Derby has a few to keep in mind they are also pretty strong. Good luck to all the 2007 Wrestlers in 6A.

it dont matter if coaches send info in my sons coach sent in his info. he went 29 and 2 this year was 2nd at state. he also beat some of the top ranked wrestlers in 4 5 and 6a and was never ranked.

They are not an exact science. "The only ranking that really matters" is determined at the State tournaments. The rankings are only as good as the input. I never look to much into rankings, this year at lhs there were 3 kids who were never ranked the whole year that placed. one made the finals. I guess the only things the rankings do is, A.) tell you who is where, and B.) Reward hard work, in other wrds if you been workin your butt off the whole year and you get ranked you feel pretty good about it, thats the way I feel about the rankings.

I hear there is someone new doing it this year and trying to get all of the input they can. Odds are it will make no difference if information is not sent in. One of the problems of blaming the past, is it don't recognize the potential for the future, especially if there are new volunteers wanting to help out.

I think it will be interesting to see how the teams that where so strong last year and had seniors graduate, how they will regroup. Guys moving around in weights can change a look of a team. It looks like it will be another exciting year. Every team has their studs. The rest is yet to be determined. I can’t wait!!!
