Mound City - Jayhawk Linn High School will be adding a High School wrestling program this year for the 2006-2007 season. Last year Jayhawk had a junior high program.

I am always excited when a school adds wrestling but I am really excited about this one as I will be the head coach and I will be assisted by Darvin Willard (Fort Scott Grad. 2000 3rd @ State 189 lbs)

Did they get their own program or are they going to send kids to a near by progarm like Parsons or LCHS and then spilt off for regionals? If they did get their own program who is going to be the head coach?

One begins and quite possibly one ends! Word has it that Lawrence Free State don't have a coach and if they don't get one by a certain date then all the Free State wrestlers will join Lawrence High school's wrestling team.
