I don't think Tristan has not officially decided yet, but the rumor is that he will likely go to an in-state community college.

Just got it from a USD 259 official:
He just found out last Friday (8/4) that he IS Div. I qualified and is now recontacting schools that were previously interested in him (N. Illinois and Nebraska were the two she said. Not that these are the only ones, there were others...) to see if they still have any money for him to go to.
She stated that the Edinboro visit was scheduled for the 12th.
Seems like he's still keeping any options open, but I'd think time is running short???

I think Neosho or some instate juco would still have money to nab him on books and tuition. N. Illinois would have him and Cornejo on the same team which would be pretty fun to see. I know the staff at Edinboro well and they would be great too. Nebraska is close to home though...all good choices.

He would look good in the crimson and cream at Oklahoma. Hazewinkel would be a great partner and they do need a 133.

Just looked up something and thought I'd post...according to the signees on Intermat, All 7 guys that Deshazer wrestled at Sr. Nationals have signed DI letters of Intent.
Saxton who beat Tristen in the semis 9-4 out of Ohio has signed with Missouri.
Chris Diehl from the State of Michigan that beat Tristen for 3rd will be at U of Mich next year.
As for the guys Tristen beat (scores of matches in parenthesis):
Ronnie Green of West Virginia to Delaware State (L 10-9)
Kyle Borschoff of NY to American (L 14-5)
Josh Betancur of CA was headed to Fresno State but now: ??? (L 9-5)
Corey Greene of Vermont is heading to Buffalo (L 12-4)
and Adam Kriwinsky of Ohio (LBF) is heading also to American.
