I am glad to hear about Newman down in Wichita but what is going on up here in District I. Is there any word or any thing we can do about the Baker University getting wrestling?

My understanding of the Baker situation is the leadership at Baker has determined the need to grow enrollment by a minimum of 100 students who will be paying full tuition. There is a need to grow the tuition paying base before any program can be offered which will require subsidizing (scholarship) the student for participation purposes.

Let me get this right, if 100 of us attend baker and pay full price they can bring in wrestling??

Scholarships are an expense to the University and without an increase in the revenue base, the additional expense can not be justified.
