My son called me last night from El Dorado where he was watching TV with some friends and said that the Army Vs. Navy wrestling dual was on. He said that the commentators were talking about how good the Navy guy was but "ol bubba stayed right with him, tying the score late and ending up getting taken down and escaping, losing by only 1. Good job Michael!!!

I watched the dual also. Does anyone know who the guy from Kansas City was?

Brother Randy:

Navy' 157lber is John Jarred, who wrestled at Park Hill in Kansas City, MO. He was the 2003 Missouri State Champ (48-2).

Excellent interview on Army website with Michael Sprigg...do not know exact address, but you can search on GoArmySports.com, nice to see Kansas wrestling at the next level.

Also should add, that Tanner Garrett whom Sprigg narrowly lost to is ranked 5th in the Nation! Great Job by Sprigg to do so well against the top guys this year.
