I was wondering how Holden Klamm from Mill Valley was doing? He was wrestling on mat 4 when he got hurt at the Mill Valley tournament Saturday. I hope everthing is ok. Great tournament. Stands were to packed, but other than that everything seemed to go ok.

Thanks for your concern!

I just spoke with Holdens dad, and he let me know that Holden is going to be fine . He did have some muscle spasms but the doctor ran x-rays and tests to check him out and said he will be okay. Just a little time off to let the back recover a little and he will be good as new.

I also want to let all know, the opponent he was wrestling was not at fault in any way. He is a great little wrestler who has a very bright future. The coach/father of Holdens opponent did everything he could do to try to stop the match as he saw what was happening.

I would also like to say "Thanks" to all who expressed concern today at the Gardner Tourney and asked about Holden.

I am very glad to hear that Holden is doing fine... Give him our best.

I was there and watched the match.... I agree, the boy he was wrestling was not at fault... I think that the ref should have stopped the match long before he did.

Thanks for the update!
