Regardless of the outcome this evening, we all should be very proud of these young men. They are representing all of Kansas Wrestling whether it is Freestyle, Greco, or Folkstyle!
Some of this young men will have wrestled upwards toward 20 matches in 4 days. With a few exceptions, all of these matches have been tough hard-fought bouts. The competition in this format is extremely difficult and top notch.
Several teams we wrestled in Freestyle did not compete is Greco. Team Kansas, a tad beat up from Greco, had to immediately move into the Freestyle bracket! Placing in the Top Ten in both Greco and Freestyle is an amazing feat!!
