Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Freestyle/Greco Slammer Freestyle Season Ending - 2006 Highlight Video

Slammer Club Members / Coaches / Friends,

We are closing out the Slammer Freestyle season as some of our wrestlers head to Team Kansas camp and the Cadet/Junior Nationals in Fargo (16-29 July).

There will be no more Slammer wrestling practices, scheduled events, etc. for the remainder of the summer. I will send out the message via email, but ask everyone pass the word.

A special thanks to Shawn Budke and Jeff Butler who provided excellent coaching for the club this freestyle season. We learned a lot and had a fun season.

I will be checking with Leavenworth High and Lansing High coaches to see if they want to have an open gym for wrestlers in the area that want to keep working out.

Coach Flynn, I've decided I AM going to Fargo, so I'll be leaving tomorrow.

oh and coach Flynn, i'm going to be taping all my matches and probably some others from around our area, i have some videos of me during our slammer season if you want any.

Talked to the High School Coaches. Leavenworth High will sponsor an open gym on Weds 6:00 to 7:30..probally through the summer.

Don't forget to get in the weight room. Use the rest of the summer to get BIG. Both Leavenworth and Lansing High weight rooms are open and have a summer lifting schedule.
