Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle who is looking good at 8U 55lbs in Dist. 1

There are some really great wrestlers in this group and because not all tournaments are posted I was wondering who was looking good at this time. Thanks

There are several. Dylan McKinney from Paola has won most every tournament. Jace Roy also from Paola is just as tough. He won several at 55 then moved up to 58 and I hear is back down. Wood from Pleasant Ridge lost to McKinney by 1 point at Johnson Co. All of these kids are past state qualifier I believe and seem to be the cream of the crop. I have not seem many of the kids from the south and there could be some others I forgot, but I know those 3 are tough.

There is a kid that wrestles for SEK 8U 55. His name is Keith Marquardt. He is flat turning it on this year. He is coached by Keven Son. I think were gonna see some good kids come out of that SEK club in the years to come. It's a fairly new charter, but they're gonna make a name for themselves soon.
