Has any1 been following the Ultimate Fighter series on Spike Tv? If so,
who do you think will win the middleweight and light heavyweight
championships this saturday? I´m going for Forrest and Diego. The
SHAMROCK match will be sickkkkk. For those who don´t know, this dude
was named "the world´s most dangerous man". So being able to watch him
fight live and free is an awesome thing (probably once in a
lifetime...this stuff is alwaysss 50 bucks on ppv). Any1 else been
following the show?

that's one thought but what kind of damage will Bonnar put on Forrest's injured eyebrow?

Personnally I thought Bonnar landed more & better shots than Forrest. Ken "Shamerock" was a big dissapointment, did the fight last a minute?

I agree that I would have scored it for Bonnar ... but I can see where Forrest got some love.

Ken Shamrock looked like he was over-the-hill yet Randy Coture fights at 40!

And yes, Diego is a weapon. I don't know about trying to hog the camera in the post fight. I would like to see Diego and Forrest go.

YOur drunk kahler. Forrest would pound diego. He doesn't have the reach to get inside on Forrest and forrest is really pretty dang good on the ground. I talked to my dad in Vegas (who was at the fight live) and He said the judges reasoning for Forrest were:
1. He was the aggressor the whole match.
2. He and stephan landed about the same amount of blows to each other. Forest's cut made it look alot worse than it was. But once again Forrest iniated almost all the fighting. So he got the W. I think the owners did the correct thing in giving both of them a contract, it was a war.

My father and I both thought stephan should've won till you sit back and watch the replay. Alot of bonnars blows were deflections and didn't land as hard as everyone thought they did during the fight.
Just my two cents..

I don't think Shamrock "slipped." I think he was "slipping" for his ankle lock, which he almost had. He did look very sound physically speaking, probably his best in some time. I do think he's either lost the competitive edge or the sport has grown so much that the up and comers are taking over.

Kind of like the "Tiger Effect." Those that haven't heard, it's like Tiger broke through and everyone wanted to be like Tiger. So they bust their humps and lo and behold, they are playing at Tiger's level. As Tiger raised the bar so to speak in golf, Shamrock has done the same for UFC.

As for the light heavies, I was impressed with their heart and UFC's decision to sign both, but I was not impressed with their strategy. If they want to stand toe to toe, their careers and brains will be shortlived. Ladell and others have devistating knees that can come to your chin in an instant and others have excellent kicking power that will rubberize your legs.

Anyone getting the Colture/Ladell fight? If so, tape it, I'd like a copy.
