I am assuming you are talking about State competition. Scott should do very well. Last year in his first year at 14 & under he placed 5th at State, so he competed well against the returning 9th graders last year. You have to believe he will compete even better against them this year in his second year of 14 & under. Like all 8th graders he does have a disadvantage to 9th graders due to their extra practice and the fact that they wrestle sophomores thru seniors both in practice and in meets.

Besides his placing at the State Folkstyle last year, Scott also won both the State Freestyle and Greco-Roman and placed second at The Southern Plains in Freestyle and Greco-Roman. I would say that he will be a definite threat at Kids State this year to place very high. He could become one of these rare 8th graders to win it.

Scott wrestled at 145 at Tulsa a couple of weeks ago, but he has wrestled a little heavier than that at some local tournaments.

Scott has a lot of potential. I can't wait to see what he can do when he actually buckles down and works. I'm not sure about his weight though. It seemed like he had some trouble yo-yo-ing his weight last season.

Scotts Deo is one of the best wrestlers around, and just so u no scott lost to isenbarg or whatever 6-3, i was there.
He also didnt wrestle so good against him.
If they wrestle again this year i garantee that scott will beat him.

We will see hopefully if they are the same weight again. And I'd like to congratulate him on beating Chase Abel from Baldwin

SCOTT DEO WILL BE AT 145 AI LIBERTY NATIONALS I HAVE SEEN THIS IS THE SAME WEIGHT AT TULSA NATIONAL, I WONDER IF ISENBERG WILL DROP TO STAY AWAY, AFTER BEATING CHASE ABEL FROM BOLDWIN WIH A FALL AND CHASE HAS BEATEN ISENBERG. SCOTT IS WRESTLING TOUGHER THAN EVER THAN WHAT HE DID AT TULSA NATIONALS.I HAVE SEEN THIS WRESTLER AT 145,155,165,175 YES, HE DOES WRESTLE AT DIFFERENT WEIGHTS JUST TO WRESTLE AND WINS.I HAVEN'T SEEN NO OTHER WRESTLER DO THIS; HE'S A GREAT WRESTLER.GOOD LUCK SCOTT WE WILL BE WATCHING.

If you notice the topic asking about Toelkes has been deleted. He got caught talking himself up, and that is exactly what this topic is doing. 2 and out at state is not 1 away from placing Zack, and you had a full bracket. You guys logging in under each others names and talking yourselves up is toooo funny. Everybody that reads this knows that it is Scott and Zack looking and digging for props. Here it is.... Scott is a different kind of wrestler, and boy does he know some moves, people who wrestled him last year countered them though. Zack, well he just wants to see if anyone knows who he is, and I am sure the many people that beat him last year can't even remember his name. 1 away from state means at least winning 1 match at state, did you??? Have to agree with the above post, this conversation is getting boring, and the high school kids coming to club don't read this, and believe this, they are going to be tough.
