Naig, Marrs Lead UNO Wrestlers at Nichols Open
FORT DODGE, Iowa -- Senior JD Naig (174) and redshirt freshman Jacob Marrs (197) each placed second at the Harold Nichols Open Saturday to pace the Mavericks in the non-scored tournament which attracted over 300 wrestlers and 12 teams, including Division I schools Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Northern Iowa, and South Dakota State.
Marrs compiled a 3-1 record. Sophomore Tony Lewis (285) placed fourth in the tournament, finishing 4-2.
