It’s good to have you back Sir Garker! We all know your old school... if I remember right you cut about 40 lbs. And they called child services on Momma Parker!

We have had all of our kids pass so far, but one that couldn't work under pressure! I guess we can call it projectile disfunction! Zero percent failure rate.

we had at least 4 people from our team fail the hydration test... one kid had the "projectile dysfunction" another had pee that resembled a miller light and another one was like root beer

The Miller Lite should have passed. Root Beer kid has a problem. We had kids drink so much dang water that their alpha weight was probably three or four pounds heavier than it had to be and the color chart didn't show a color that clear, but we are all good on the hydration test! We have one kid that has lost almost 8% of his body weight and hasn't started cutting yet. Think he was water logged? He is going to cut over 10%, and will have to get a waiver. But, he WAS well hydrated.

Does anyone know how the doctor's waiver will factor in to the certification process this year? I'm assuming they still have to pass a hydration test to certify, even if they have a waiver from the doctor saying that their weight is ok.

We had our first competition weigh in yesterday and so I told all my guys to try to pass the hydration test if they could so we could get as many out of the way as possible. Of my 44 wrestlers 19 did not even try (of those 6 didn't even make weight, 8 forgot and went to the bathroom when the woke up and so couldn't go again, and 5 knew they wouldn't pass it).

Of the 25 who did try the test 17 passed it and 8 failed it. So one weigh in into the season I already have 1/3 of my team certified. One or two may still drop a weight later in this month but I figure the sooner I get this hydration test out of my life the better. The reamining 27 will try to pass on Saturday and we will keep going every weigh in until all are certified.

By the way even though we didn't wrestle last night Rick Bowden gave us permission to still use the hydration test because we weighed in at 6:30am and they didn't cancel the dual until 12:00pm. So it was an "official team weigh in for compeition" even thought the competitioin was cancelled.

Did anyone else try the hydration test yesterday? What were your numbers like?

So how many people have yet to piss excellence? Just wondering cause I filled up a whole toilet bowl full this morning. You could've stuck it in a filtering device like Kevin Costner in Waterworld and redrank the stuff it was so good.
