This should be a good early season dual. Couple of ranked 6A wrestlers will meet head to head in this dual. I am sure that Goddard is favored. Derby has a couple of good freshman and 1 transfer that look very good in their challenge matches on Monday ngiht. Look out for Cole Carpenter at 189, a freshman that was very impressive.

I’m familiar with Goddards lower/mid weight, but was wondering who they have at 189/215/Hwy since they lost their seniors. I hope the weather lets the guys wrestle. It’s going to be fun to watch.

I believe that Dusty Elliot (2x Placer) moved up to 189 and I'm pretty sure that Morgan Kessler is returning for 215...

Does anyone know if they are going to wrestle tonight or not? #1 vs. #2 in pre-season 6A raniking. Would like to see it. Mike Furches, if you are on here, please let us know if they are having this dual or not and what time it will start if they do wrestle tonight. Thanks!

Not on near as much as in the past as work obligations keep me busier than in the past. The dual though is not on tonight. Wish it was as we could walk to the school to wrestle if need be. The 189 pounder from Derby making some noise in pre season is Eric Horton, he is the one who won the wrestle off the other night. I was really looking forward to this one and know it would have been a lot of fun.
