In a related topic you might be interested in a topic that I just introduced on the College Forum. The topic has a link to a John Stossel report on Title IX. I am for women participation in sports but not with the result of the elimination of opportunities for men. Stossel's report points out some of the absurd lengths that Title IX is used by special interest groups.
Part of the reason that Richard may have introduced this topic here is that you can see from Stossel's report that this has become an issue for high schools too.
