How can someone move down in ranking if they haven't lost?

Yes, thank you for making this correction, Richard. I would be in this weight division but my eligibility ran out almost 40 years ago!

Why is Stokes below Wauer? Just curious as to the criteria used in that decision...

As info, checked the individual school' web sites and last year' State brackets.

130 - Godfrey and Baumfalk are both Seniors.
140 - Plott is a Senior.
285 - Hewitt is a Senior.

Thought whoever does the rankings would appreciate the "extra" information.

Generally a wrestler moves up because of a quality win...for example, when a lower ranked 5A wrestler defeats a higher ranked wrestler from another classification...that wrestler may deserve moving up...this is an educated guess...as most of them are...

Who did Stokes beat or place ahead of??? I also think he has a cool last name maybe thats why he moved up in the rankings lol

Tyler Stokes from Gardner-Edgerton won the Johnson County Classic.

True but none of the kids he jumped ahead of was in the tournament lol... I know the Washington kids is very impressive at 103.

189 is gonna be fun to watch come state time, two state champs and runner up.

where is Scott Markey of STA at 152

Sparks of Emporia and Curtis of G-E would be an exiting match to watch.

I Believe that Stokes beat Sharky Slyter in the Finals at the Gardner Edgerton tournament, the same tournamtent that Wauer got fourth at, in fact i believe Tyler stokes beat the Wauer kid to get into the finals, right now Stokes is undefeated, satisfied Travius?

Good Job... I feel warm and fuzzy now knowing that us Stokes' are moving up in the world.

P.S. I asked the question in order to get enlightened... my intentions where to neither criticize the rankings nor put down any one wrestler... ( Especially one who shares my own last name. ) So yeah I'm satisfied because I got the information I wanted to hear. (Isn't that the whole point of asking questions???)

well i wasn't sure if you wanted me to go into detail with his entire career or just this year, i mean who would have known there are that many stokes' in the world haha

Richard == Liberal has a 215lber that you might look to get into the rankings Joe Bach i believe.

Howard Johnson from Great Bend beat Nick Heincker from Bishop Carroll at the Valley Center tournament. And one question, did Aldon Isenberg beat Patterson from Abilene

And he also pinned Bird in the finals at Douglas!!!
