Aaron Hoag beat Justin Rose,so that can't be right at 112.

We are aware of instances where a post has been made regarding a certain wrestler defeating another ranked wrestler.

Please understand if the coach does not provide results the rankings are difficult to update.

When yardman states wrestler A has defeated wrestler B it is very difficult to verify the validity of the claim.

When wrestler1086 provides updates regarding Howard Johnson, without knowing the specifics I can not in gooc conscious forward the information the the high school coach who performs the rankings.

I have included my email address and request any information regarding updates please be sent to me with a name and where to verify the information.

In years past I always left my contact information on my posts however I have recently received many unusual emails and removed the contact information.

The last I was aware, Joe was 22-0 and I would like to receive confirmation.

I am not from Liberal but was at the South West Classic in Liberal this weekend. Joe Bach beat Saul Landeros from Ulysess in the finals and is still undefeated according to the program at the tournament.

TJ Lorson (Seaman) defeated RJ Nill (STA) at the Maize Tournament 3-1.

how is it that st thomas is still ranked above bishop carrol, carrol won perry tourny, derby tourny beat defending 6a champs just wandering.

I am not sure how the team ranking is determined, but they might assign points to the current individual rankings. I doubt that they compare team winnings of individual tournaments. Bishop Carrol has three individual number one rankings and Aquinas has two, but Aquinas has a total of nine wrestlers ranked and Bishop Carroll has six ranked wrestlers. The difference in the team rankings probably is being determined by the additional three wrestlers that Aquinas has in the individual rankings.

I am surprised that Scott Markey of Aquinas is not currently ranked at 152. I think there is a good chance he will be before the year is over.

i dont think s. markey wrestled at state last year. injury i assume, but your right he is one of the better wrestlers at that weight. it wouldnt even surprise me to see him win it this year.

If I remember right, Scott was pretty sick for State last year and that's why he didn't wrestle.

Why is Sparks still ranked as #1 when he isn't even wrestling?

There was an updated 5A ranking done on 1/9/07 (there is a topic on the updated ranking too on this forum). In the updated ranking Sparks is not currently ranked and Curtis of Gardner-Edgerton is ranked #1.
