Congratulations to Jace Banner for placing 4th at 189 in this tournament. I think it is very difficult for freshmen wrestlers to successfully compete at these heavier weights since they have to wrestle against so many juniors and seniors. Most of the time the freshmen are unable to overcome the strength and speed difference.
I am very impressed with both Jace Banner and Lucas Vincent of Olathe North 285 for placing fourth in their divisions as freshmen in this high quality tournament.
