Mom 152 I don't think that it has much to do with the practices my son is 4 and he practiced 3 days a week for 2 hours from Oct thru March and when I told him the season was over he cried. He loved practices and loved wrestling and can't wait till next year. We have a tough program and he was the youngest on the team and he never complained about practice. This was the best thing for him. I think that the cost does get very expencive. As of Febuary we had already spent over $250. That didn't include motel rooms and the rest of the season. I realize it takes a lot to run a program and a tournament but maybe there is a solution. I like the idea of the reuse of shoes and siglets. I know our club does do some of this with in the club.
