Does it count if you lost a match that you bumped up a weight class to wrestle but if you havent lost at your weight? Like around regionals and state?

A loss counts against your record.



Seeding at Regionals can become complicated, however the simple answer is the loss likely will not be held against the wrestler.

There is NO seeding for State. The bracket placements are prearranged by KSHSAA based on a wrestlers Regional placement.
