Whenever I post the entries for Paola and Mill Valley it helps eliminate problems on Friday and Saturday. Invariably there is a kid left off, put in the wrong bracket, etc. If you post the entries then a coach can contact you via phone or email to make the correction. Sharing information is always a good practice.

Chris Endreshak asked me to respond to this on behalf of the Salina Wrestling Club. He also asked me to let everyone know that bracketing has been completed and that no changes will be made unless the Salina Kids Wrestling Club has made a mistake. Should anyone have any questions or concerns, Chris' phone number is (785) 823-3237.

There are certain things "great" tournaments seem to do, posting entries being one of them. Thanks Salina.

I agree. The extra effort is why these tournaments are the most successful. Way to go Salina!

I don't know alot of the younger kids but in 12U.

12/76 has Helms, Burley, 3 kids from Team Central, MO, Cullen Hood, and Roy that are all state placers. Perkins from Team Central would be the favorite just got 3rd at Tulsa. Hood just placed there as well.

12/80 Harding/Wood is the Tulsa National Finals rematch. Haralson and Eck have both placed there in the past as well. Burley is also a multi state placer. Harding is the favorite.

12/84 Pursel is Tulsa National Runner-up. Reidy-NE has won alot nationally and Locke is 3x state champ. McKinney is also multi placer.

12/96 Weigel is Tulsa National Champ and OW. Then Delaney who placed at Tulsa, then Puckett, Fenwald, Umcheid and Andrews are all state placers. Weigel unless he ties his shoes together.

Just my thougths. There are probably several others I missed and as always any of these kids can be beat once in a while, but these are the top proven week in and week out.

Okay, ......I'm going to ask everyone to please respect this. I am still getting calls and e-mails asking me to change brackets for mistakes that they themselves or their clubs have made. I even had one parent that asked me to change their kid earlier in the week and then called me back after the entries were posted, wanting them to change him back. This is just one example of the many reasons why alot of the clubs have reservations about posting their entries. Although I will admit that posting ours has helped us catch a few mistakes ahead of time, it also serves as a means for some (not all) parents that simply want to change their kids weights due to wanting to either wrestle or avoid another wrestler. I don't know how to say this any other way "WE ARE DONE BRACKETING. THERE WILL BE NO MORE CHANGES UNLESS WE MADE A MISTAKE". Please, understand that there are approxiamtely 1200 kids in this tournament and what you may feel is a simple change is actually alot of work when you have a tournament this size. Thanks.

Respectfully,
Chris Endreshak

If anyone found or mistakenly picked up a YM Florida singlet(blue) we would very much appreciate it if it could be returned to us. I sent my 10 yr old with friends to attend this tournaments since I was unable to make it and after weigh-ins he took off his singlet to change into his street clothes and next thing you know it was gone.
I know it's probably a waste of time posting this but just maybe that someone will feel guilty for picking something up that was not theirs and not giving it to the headtable so the rightful owner could get it back. No questions asked
