Just wanted to let everyone know we have lots of room for entries. We are doing an Open and Novice together on the same day should run like any other tournament.
If you need hotel rooms call the Super 8 and tell them you are with the wrestling tournament the number there is 620-365-3030.

I;m not that advanced yet. We've had a great sign-up we have almost 400 wrestlers from really all over the state. Like I said I'm not advaced enough to post them I'm sorry maybe next year. If you have any questions I'll try to answer them Thanks for asking

how about 14 and under 175 just wondering how many kids u have

I'm bringing a few kids who signed up as novice from Indy that are in the weight classes that are heavier 8U. If you only have 1 or 2 in a bracket, do you move the bracket to open for more competition?

It would be more fair if they just combined weights and kept novice with novice and open with open. The point of a novice tourney is to get some good fun experience instead of getting pounded? Besides it says on the flyer all round robins which means only max of 5 kids per bracket anyhow! How heavy are you talking? We may have some in our club coming for the novice part?

We've got one 8U 80 and one 88. I agree they need to be with novice, but once this year, the 80 pounder was paired with a kid about 110 pounds in a novice. Even if there is only 1 or 2 others within 10 lbs that would be nice. In sek we don't get many novice tourneys close so these guys are wrestling open and it's not too good for their self esteem.

With 400 plus kids total, it should be a good tournament.
