4A rankings is something to just give you an idea of the caliber of the wrestler. It doesn't mean anything until after state.
Jon did lose three times but they weren't just to push-over's either. Jon's first lost was at Basehor-Linwood. He lost to Flynn from Lansing in a very close match. At the Concordia tournament, Jon asked the coach if he could wrestle up a weight class. He went up to 152 against the Minneapolis team and ended up getting beat (can't remember the score). His other lose of the day came from Pyle from Sabetha, a two-time state champion in 3A.
