This year I am trying something new. Our first Open tournament. but if you look at the flyer we still have a novice rating. If you will rate your novice wrestlers I will bracket them in their own bracket if possible.
I what to give everyone mat time so we will be doing round robin matches. Here is your chance to get "mat time".
I hope that you will still bring your whole teams like before and rate them so we can get the best matches possible.

FEE: $12.00 per participant non-refundable must accompany entry. Each participant must have a USA wrestling card.

Note: All wrestlers must weigh-in wearing a competition singlet!
Note: All wrestlers will get a 1-pound allowance, since many will be wrestling on Saturday!
RULES
This is a sanctioned tournament with USA Wrestling & USA Wrestling-Kansas.
KSHSAA rules as modified by USA Wrestling-Kansas Kids Rules. Certified Officials will be used.
NO WEIGHT CHANGES ALLOWED!! Wrestlers must make weight. Please inform wrestlers & parents!!

BRACKETING
We will be using all Round Robin brackets. We reserve the right to combine weight classes within an age group. Please rate each wrestler by ability using the letter system below: A. state qualifier/placer, B. excellent(always places 1st or 2nd), C. above average (usually places), D. average, E. 1st yr or 2nd yr wrestler Novice
Please rate your 6-under as A. places 1st or 2nd, B. places 3rd or 4th, C. 2nd yr. novice, D 1st yr novice.
Do not just rate them as novice. We want to put 6-under’s in appropriate brackets.

AWARDS: Medals to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places. All 6-under will receive a medal.
CONCESSIONS: Will be served all day
COOLERS: Will not be allowed in the gym. Please inform your wrestlers and parents!
GATE: $1.00 per person over 5 years old. Coaches with USA wrestling Cards and Wrestlers admitted free!
