JR ROMAN beat Nick Collins in JR High
A few names from the Goddard area and just some others that I may be wrong on but I believe they will be freshmen next year:
Dawson Elliot
Trey Houlden
Dalton Beard
Zach Atkenson (I HEARD he may be going to Goddard)
Tyler Woodruff
I also believe that Daniel Deshazer will be a freshmen next year
J York 103
K Johnson 130
K Ash 119
B Ohara 145
I Moore 171
Should all sign with Columbus.
I also believe Taylor Moeder of Colby will make an impact where ever he goes at 112.
These are all predicted weights for next fall.
Typically this is the toughest transition year for kids. High school kids practing 5 days a week with sophmores, juniors, and seniors 4 age groups. Then they wrestle with kids who have 3 to 4 practices per week and a year less of physical maturity. It is more than normal that the 9th graders can win over some of the undefeated 8th graders. Sometimes if there is a loaded weight they may not even make it out of districts. But if your good your good age may not matter. Good luck to all.
i am not sure but i think that, that miller boy from goodland will be a freshman next year. he wont be to bad either.
Norton has some good 8th graders that should be good in high school...here are a few...Kaid McKenna, Spencer Shirk, Troy Bainter, and Landon Keiswetter
Where is Norton going to put all these wrestlers??? There may not be enough weights to spread them out! You also have Billy Broeckelman, and what grade is the Terrell kid in? Looks like a tough line up for several years to me.
.... Deeohh, If Taylor doesnt grow a little faster, he'll be lucky to be 112 when he's a junior!:) He'll probably be an undersized 103lb'er next year, but he'll be hitting the weights hard all summer so hopefully we'll get him up there.
kyle pacheco from gardner hes 175 he won state last year and it was his second year but this year he couldnt go because he has a hurt ankle
and also jp branen from gardner he had 2 losses this year during middle school one was to a state champion and another was to a kid who got 4th in state i think
Taylor Baird from Pratt went 14-0 and he will be wrestling at pratt high. He will probably will be wrestling at 140 or 145(he is the second one in his family to go undefeated in the past two years, his brother Austin Baird went 19-0 last year)
