I've been away from the sport for a while. I heard that there is now some kind of "super-duper-king-of-the-mountain" overtime. Can someone please explain how overtime now works or post a link to where I can find the exact wording of the rule? Thanks.
the new ot rules consist of one minute netural position and if no score in it then each get 30 seconds to score from position of thier choice if still no score then who every scored first in match choses position for final 30 seconds.
Just a quick clarification ... the first 60 second overtime period is sudden victory. The two 30 second tiebreakers are not sudden victory - the wrestlers compete for both periods unless there is a fall. If the score is still tied after the two 30 second tiebreakers, a final 30 second "ultimate tiebreaker" is wrestled. The first points scored during the ultimate tiebreaker determine the winner. If no points are scored, the offensive wrestler wins.
