Does anyone know of some good wrestlers that will be tough to beat at 14 & Under 140lbs?
Hiawatha has a boy at 14 and under that has not been beat in the middle school or in the kids so far this year. he won in Atchison last week and Hiawatha yesterday. His weight is 135 or 140 just depends on where we put him. I think hes going to Wamego for a tournament next week and I hope all of you take a look at him there.
arnold of bishop carroll or hendsley from Rosehill at 135 and cotton from hutch has been at 140 once this year. all will be very tough to beat, and should be at 14 and under 135 to 145lbs.
CJ Madison might be there by the end of the year
Tanner Kriss might be there by state.
blake mayes from beloit might end up there.
i think he is wrestling 135 in high school right now
You would think most of the high school kids are going to go up a little bit in weight for kids. If I was 14/140 the person I would be keeping my eye on would be Scott Elliott who is (so far) unbeaten in high school.
yea scott elliot is a really good wrestler..he has skill and i would guess that he will cut wait rather then gain...
There are alot of good wrestlers at this weight class
if mitch arnold goes 140 i garentee that kids r gona be runnin
i'd take elliot over arnhold, and i'd also bet he isn't running
Kelly Younkin might wrestle 14 and under at 140.....cause thats the weight he is wrestling at right now in High School
What about that Hambleton kid he pined C.J Madison in the first period at Caney.
man if all these guyz go to this wait its gona be like stacked..
CJ Madison, will be at 130 which is what he weighs, and was giving up 10-25 lbs at Caney. Anyway lets be realistic here, my money for the placers at state will be on the those HS freshman moving into the kids after their season is over, I have also heard a few of the "top" freshman are not doing kids the yare going to Omaha to wrestle.
I'm still convinced we will ALL see the Hambleton kid at state again this year.
Hambleton? where is he from
Hambleton is from studville. He'sRilly from Parsons.
Scott Elliot is in high school but he will probably be coming at that weight at the end of the year.
Watch out for Ryan Carlson from Hiawatha he has beat everything thrown at him at Salina and many other tournaments he has about 40 wins and 0 losses
Wait and see what happens when he meets up with the returning freshmen and other Jr. High wrestlers that aren't in his local area.
Hey Slappy, have you seen any of the post by jeff peterson @ 125 321a he was talkin about how studly he was but forgot to mention that he has not had any compitition, write him for a little advice on how to digest crow. He's just a kid so he might not be able to help . maybe the Betty Crock of sheet cookbook will have an answer for ya. or better yet why dont ya have a grip on how good someone is before you post and if the season was over u might have made a valid statement but as u know it is far from over and highschool kids r usually the top placers in the weight classes wrer talkin about.
To all concerned I have worked multiple High School and middle school tournaments through out parts of the state not just our local "area" this year and years past and I've seen a lot of the high school competition and I not saying he will beat them all, but I seen whats out there and I can say he can hang with what I've seen so far!
Hahahaha, Ryan Carlson=Jeff Peterson haha sounds correct to me
yea i gotta agree with bill...i garentee that he wont be able to beat kelly younkin or scott elliot...and there is more....im thinkin this ryan guy needs to look at the results for high school tournaments and then maby he wouldnt talk as much trash...and i dont think it is him makin these coments..it is his dad so i guess that u cant blame him
