Brandon Becker 5th at State
Bryce Younger 2nd at State
Cody Phippen Tulsa Nationals 4th, Kickoff 3rd (2nd at State)

Levi Green Trailhands 5th at State
Mason Turner Tulsa Nationals 1st, Kickoff 3rd, Amarillo 4th (State Champ)
Triston Hopkins 3rd at State
Travis,

Where did you get this updated information. I did not see Turner on the list and I see Cody at 58. Not complaining, this will be an awsome bracket, just wondered where the updates are.
I moved Cody and heard Turner had moved as well.
Looks like we might find a 61lbs state champion early in the season hate to be the seeding this freakin bracket looking forward to watching this. Man I love Salina
I'm pretty sure I stated that Kansas had the toughest kids in the Nation at 10U 52-64. I think this Super-Bracket proves it. Good luck to all.
Forgot:
Jordan Priddy 5th at State
TJ Miller owns 2 wins over Tanner Hitchcock this year
and Possibly Tanner Hitchcock State Champ last year
This could be a group of the following:
3 State Champions
7 State Finalist
5 Roller Tournament Placewinners (all with at least 2 placings)
12 State Placers
10u 61 is looking like one of the best brackets ever at Salina, it's for who ever want's it the most. Good Luck to all.
Noticed some of the heavier weight class in 14 and under are a little short of wrestlers. Will weights be combined brackets or round robin style?

Mike Carey
from an email i got from the director, he said that he will combine weights but im not sure about your weght class in particular! and he said that if there is 5 or less wrestlers then he will put them in a round robin,,

i only know this because i emailed him about my kids weight class it only had 4 and was just curious! and he combined it with 1 more to make it 5 kids and said it will be round robin smile

but im sure you can email him for a more accurate answer regarding your specific weight and age group, he answers pretty quick to it
10u64 is Nasty as well! looks like the Purler kid registered @10u61 is also the #1 ranked wrestler in Missouri at 65#, so should not forget him!The ranking system usa missouri has is pretty cool, what would it take to get a system like that in Kansas?
Let's get ready to RUMBLE!!!! For the last several years I thought my son's age/wt bracket was one of the toughest around......looking at the entries for Kansas Tournament of Champions 10u 61lbs.....that proves it!!!! Good luck to all - this should be a great day of wrestling.
Bryant Page from Andover is also in 61 and a state champ

This is how I would seed it...IMO.

I would seed Turner, Deshazer, Dryden, and Beeson top four in no particular order. I personally think these are the top four kids in the State, and if this tournament was wrestled four times, we would probably have four different champs IMO. I would then take Hitchcock, Miller (apparently he has beaten Hitchcock twice already this year), and Phippen and give them the next three seeds in no particular order. Then I would take the rest and flip a coin.

I truely appreciate the all the kids mentioned above. They continue to drive Dylan every day in practice to close the gap.

I apologize if I have spelled anyones name incorrectly.

Greg Pelland
What about Taysom who has beat Miller this year?
I believe that Hitchcock is at 58, but he may have moved up. Shoot with this Bracket a Blind Draw would be the most fun.

You're probably right........although the top four I mentioned should be seeded 1-4.

Point taken...this bracket blows my mind.
I would go a step further and say flip a coin and put Turner and Beeson at #1 and #2 and blind draw everyone else.
Also,I have a request for the Salina people...
PLEASE try to keep this bracket updated on the wall as much as possible. You guys always do a good job anyway but with all the hype people will be wanting to stay in the know...
JMO
This is what has happened so far this year:

Dryden Win over Deshazer
DeShazer Win over Phippen
Turner Win over Deshazer, Phippen and Dryden
Beeson I don't know if he has beaten any of the others
Phippen Win over Miller and Taysom
Miller Win over Hitchcock
Taysom Win over Miller

The bottom 3 are all from EKWC smile
Turner beat Beeson by 1 in Blackwell. Beeson has never beat Boo, last match 2 years ago at Winfield. Beeson beat Deshazer in the State Finals last year. I would say Turner 1, Dryden 2, Beeson 3, and Deshazer 4. Still think a blind draw would be more fun.

The Purler kid (Conner Brown) is on the list of entries at 10/61 but will be in the 10/64 bracket.
You guys will all find out when we hang the brackets on Friday afternoon...

and BLT - we will do our best to get ALL wall brackets updated quickly not just their bracket...
i bet if you wrestle it 10 times you will have 10 different results.
I bet this bracket will be very interesting, if it is seeded right. Anyone within the bracket could win it. Everyone will be interested in this. State has moved to Salina lol.
Look's like Hitchcock is in at 61, talked to Micheal Regan's dad today from Oklahoma and it was to late, but he sure wanted to come. There is a couple kid's he said he wanted to wrestle. With that kid in the bracket it would have gotton real interesting. He is looking at Maize though.
well i,ve seen a few of these kids wrestle . It sounds like on heck of a tournament. I think that tanner is wrestling 58 though! Would love to watch every match in this bracket> Good luck to all those 61lb kids!
