I know that several wrestlers, families, and coaches have become friends with Kasdon over the last 5 yrs that he has wrestled. Unfortunately, Kasdon broke his leg in practice over the Christmas break and he is out for 18-22 weeks, which ends his wrestling season. He was the #1 seed at USJOC and would have been a favorite to win that as well as the KS State tournament. Kasdon was in the hospital for two days, but is home now with lots of time on his hands. If you know Kasdon, I'm sure that he would love to hear from you via the forum.
We have wrestled and played baseball with Kasdon for several years now and he is a great kid.
Tell Ron and Kas that Clayton ans I are thinking of him, man that sure does stink.
I am sure Kas will come back as strong as ever!
Thanks Kevin for posting this thread about Kas, thanks Tracy for your post as well. We want to thank the Maize Wrestling Club, the Hughbanks,Wunsch's,Warner's,Bowen's,Boo's School and all the people who have supported Kas and made this bad experience easier to deal with. Kas was put in a solid cast today and if all goes well he is looking at being in it for 6-8 weeks. We hope to have him back in school tommorrow. He's already wanting me to take him to practice tommorrow night. Good Luck everybody on the remainder of the season. Kas wants to tell Cameron Hughbanks thanks for representing him at USJOC.
