Way to represent Kansas boys!
Congratulations to all of these young men. The future of Kansas wrestling looks very bright!
The Kansas kids looked good! Ryan Henderson 8 under 85 finished 5th not 6th. I've emailed them so hopefully they get this changed so he get credit for his last win!
KS wrestler did real good overall considering the low numbers we sent. Lots of bloody noses, split lips and injuries at this tournament. Shows the level of tough wrestling to be had at this one.
If Anthony Capul had picked up one more pin he would have easily been the OW for 12U. He dominated his 160U class. I enjoyed watching him and other KS wrestlers this weekend. Hopefully Anthony will go to Reno Worlds to try for a Trinity Award and maybe an OW there.
Congrats to everyone who participated and look forward to seeing more KS wrestlers on the mats there next year.
