Kansas Wrestling
We are auctioning Box Seating (For 10) in Section 114 at Landon Arena to the highest bidder. We are including lunch and dinner for 10 on Saturday, and lunch for 10 on Sunday. We are also including 3 seats for each wrestler your club has entered in the State tournament, located directly below the box seating. The only seats that will be saved in the Arena, are the seats that are associated with this box.

Bidding will begin now on this post, and it will end March 27th at 6:00 pm on this post.

Bump ..
Oh I don't think they will be the ONLY seats saved. Have you never went over an hour before tourny starts? I think the box seats up for bid have BOOGERS under the seats you might want to check.
Whats the lunch/dinner menu? And will special beverages be served? smile
$350.00 to open bid.
Im out..... smile
$355.00

Mark Baldwin
Great Bend
Snacks are under the seat.
The high bid so far is $355...Thank you Mark Baldwin and Great Bend.

Menu has yet to be determined, but in the past we have done pizza and sub sandwiches. I am considering adding in a pasta dish of some kind for Sunday's noon meal. Soft drinks and water will be the beverage.

Seats are not allowed to be saved overnight; other than those in this auction. Clubs who arrive early on Saturday/Sunday do get choice of seating on a first come first serve basis. Do to the popularity of this event (a good thing), if Jerry chooses to sleep in then sometimes the choice seats are already taken in the arena...unless you bid on this suite deal (pardon the pun!

Upping the bid to $375.00.
Never said "overnight" but don't say first come first serve when people allowed to show up with a newspaper or blanket and spread it out over an entire row. Maybe I'm wrong but appears some people pick and chose who can do these things. Now as for the state of KS wrestling lets get rid of the buddy system and advance. Couldn't we help fund more events for the kids if we quit paying people to do jobs that could be done online? Why not work a deal with USA Wrestling and put the money from that in the fund for extra funding for dual teams and FS/Greco? By the way I was probably up before you today.
Hey Mark, where is the money from this auction going?
In years past it has gone to the college wrestling fund.

Hard to tell bids, show 6;00 are late
I'm guessing SC, since they were the last 3 bids. I think if you up your own bid it doubles.... correct? smile
Going by the 5:59 mark, it looks like Maize secured it.
Looks like Scott city had last bid at 5:59 after maize bid!
Just realized sc bid was one dollar less than maize congrats maize
It says " end March 27th at 6:00 pm on this post" not 5:59, not 6:01.

It wqs awarded to SC last year with this same exact sniping.

Maize bid more money at 12:00 but SC won it with their less bid at 11:59.

This one should come out the same.

Congrats Maize and Scott City for bids!
Is it 6:00:00 and would be late if at 6:00:01? I hope the board isn't going to turn down this money. Thanks to both clubs for supporting Kansas wrestling!
So who won it?
I would like to express our sincere appreciation to both Maize and Scott City. This years winner is Maize for their $2401 bid! Wow!!!! Scott City was sold section 113 on the opposite side of the arena for the same money. Both of these clubs are great examples for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for all of the volunteer hours that both clubs put in and for your willingness to participate in this auction. Good luck this weekend!
(Applause)
