i know we weren't 3A last year but don't forget about Scott City!
Posted By: Harry LaMar Re: 3-2-1A Preview, Rankings - 11/21/06 07:06 PM
You are right, I have not heard from them either. I wrestled a Shannon Sharp in 1976 any relation. How in the heck I rememberthat I don't know.

don't think so...bc my family spells our last name with an e on the end of it
Posted By: RedStorm Re: 3-2-1A Preview, Rankings - 11/22/06 03:04 AM
The 3A world is going to be introduced to the Scott City "unitard." No, that's not some fancy kind of takedown. It's the one-piece singlet & tight combination worn by the Beavers. Also, Coach Lipp usually busts out a pretty sweet trucker hat for the finals matches. Very retro. very nice. People out West are probably used to seeing it but it will be quite the shocker for any 3A schools east of Hays. My only question now is who in 4A will carry on the tradition of the Beaver unitard at the 4A state tournamnet?
Posted By: JSAMSON Re: 3-2-1A Preview, Rankings - 11/22/06 03:53 PM
Coach I think your cardinals would look good in the unitard.
Posted By: klint deere Re: 3-2-1A Preview, Rankings - 11/22/06 04:09 PM
There is definitely a reason for the "tard" in a unitard
Posted By: maybeimamazed Re: 3-2-1A Preview, Rankings - 11/23/06 01:33 PM
I think the Cardinals should stick to those 1976 singlets!

I posted the first individual rankings of the season. Only state Placers and qualifiers are listed. I still need about 1/3 of the teams to report in. Thanks to all that have helped.

Fredonia has 1 returning qualifier, Aron Culbertson-130
Neodesha has 1 also, Jamie Thayer-145

Culbertson's going 135 this year.
Thayer is out until January with a knee injury from football. He's going 145 again.

Rankings are updated. Beat me up! I need St. Francis INv. results. There are a lot of good kids out there I have not heard from.

Saw Migchelbrink from Atwood this weekend at the Sainty Invite. Looked pretty good and got OW. I would say that 125 will be where he is at since he wrestled there last year and is already down there this year.
