What a tragedy, prayers and thoughts to the Winfield Community.
Kiyon has helped us with the Kansas All-American camp in Winfield for a long time. He was an awesome person and loved wrestling. Kiyon's family will be in our prayers.
It really saddens me to hear this! I did not know him personally but was a tremendous competitor and great to watch with kids at the kids club tournaments!

My thoughts are with his family

Man that is sad. Our prayers are with him.

My prayers go out to his family and friends. I talked with him at tournaments a few times and had a lot of respect for him as both a coach and person. It's sad that stuff like this happens.
Very rough news. It makes you remember what is important in life. May God bless his family and friends with strength and encouragement.

Sad news! I still remember the butt kicking he gave me 15 years ago while wearing his fluorescent colored singlet.

Coached against Kiyon in his first state final. I liked him a lot and have since counted him as a friend. I am so very sad for his family, friends and his coaches from his high school days. I know they loved him and I feel lucky to have been on the same mat with him so long ago. This should not have happened to a good guy like Kiyon. My thoughts with all who will miss him.
