"Get Tough or Go Home"
are there more in depth stats? i.e. individual results
Any idea what the tournament format will be on Saturday at TONGY ?
who are the confirmed teams for tomorrow's Tongy Tourney ?
.... as i had understood 2 of the teams had dropped out.
What are some of the possible match-ups /wrestlers to watch ?
The tournament will be a pool format tournament. Last year I believe it was two pools of 5. 1st place of pool A wrestles 1st place pool B for Finals and then third place works the same 2nd Pool A vs. 2nd Pool B and so on...
I know Shawnee Heights has added to the tournament, but I'm not sure if a second team has added... I think Tongie will have a good chance of winning it this year, they have some tough kids. As far as Piper goes, we have some injuries so we won't have much depth as a team but individually I expect us to do well. I haven't looked too much into all the match ups, just wrestle who shows up in the middle of the mat! It should be a fun tournament.
You mean 1st place pool A team vs pool B team or top individual records?
And it must be Shawnee Heights JV otherwise they would be a shoo in for Team Champs as they are very tough !
Last year it was individual placing in the pool. So if you take 1st at 103 Pool A then you'll wrestle 1st Place out of Pool B for the finals. It works out well. Most guys will get 4 to 5 matches. And as far as I know, Shawnee Heights are sending their Varsity but that's just a guess. At least I hope they're sending their Varsity team if you say they're tough.
