Does anyone know the format for this tournament? With 12 teams it could be a 16 man bracket with byes?
It has always been 16 man brackets in the past.
125
5th 5A Ryan Hodges, Mill Valley
6th 5A Jacob Wools, Pittsburg
Bret Simmons, Topeka Seaman
119
5th 5A Tyler Dickman, Mill Valley
Predictions on 130 & 145?
130- Johnson and Corado in the finals, should be a good match.
145- Looks really crazy, but I would probably say Little and Houlden in the finals with O'Hara and Collins in consolation finals
Agree on the 130 but if Collins is on he may suprise you and be in the finals.
Heard Little is staying at 140 for this tournament.
Good to see you today Sportsfan02.
Little just teched Schreiner 15-0!!
145-Guillen beat Collins 9-3!!!
Thought Pittsburg looked much improved. Had about 3 guys out of lineup and still got 3rd behind Goddard and Derby. Haake 1st, Seybold 1st, Bennett 1st. Corado got 2nd to Johnson from Columbus. Toughest weight class in my opinion was heavyweight. #3 and #4 from 6A and #3 and #4 from 5A. Bennett won 1st with a nice takedown on the kid from Derby. Hopefully see Koehn return soon and get a full line up ready for regionals.
Yes Pittsburg looked good, usually does. Derby looked good also.
Yes Heavyweight was very tough.
How about 130? #1 4A, #1 5A, #3 & #4 6A, #6 4A dnp, 19-3 4A dnp.
Great tournament, had a great time.
Best wishes to all.
What was the score of Johnson and Corado?
6-3 Kyle controlled it.
Kevin Seybold
Jerry I think you blew someones cover yesterday!
Kevin Seybold
I was heartbroken when I went out of my way to say hi to him and he wouldn't even speak to me. Just coward down and kept walking like he was embarrassed. Couldn't even sleep last night I was so upset. And to think I was going to offer to let him use my abroller.
Jerry, I'm sure if he didn't speak to you it wasn't because he was embarrassed. Rather I would think it's because he simply doesn't like you.
I will have brackets up this afternoon
He? You mean you? You sure liked me enough at one point to use my name as your email or is that worship?
What tournament do you attend this week Sporto?
Hey Kramer, those brackets look fishy!!!
I don't think I have ever seen so many first period falls in one tournament. At 140 they have Little pinning a kid in 1 second and the 135 final they have a 5 second pin??
I heard they were having some table and clock issues in Chanute and by looking at these brackets I would say it carried over into what was written down on the bout sheets...
