Another tough loss for my beloved Chapman Wrestling family. RIP Colin Henderson. Thoughts and prayers to all back home
Colin Henderson was a senior this past season for Chapman High School. He was killed in a car accident on Monday, May 14. There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 22 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Church of the Nazarene located at 317 W. 5th Street in Chapman. Colin had just graduated on Sunday, May 13. He was planning to attend KU and study Sports Medicine. He will be greatly missed in the Chapman Wrestling Family as well as the Kansas Wrestling Family. In the past two years he had been coaching in our youth program and was a great role model for our young wrestlers. He will be greatly missed.
Here is an update on Colin's Celebration of Life. The family has requested that all wrestlers who will be attending this service to wear your team wrestling shirts. He loved wrestling and this would be a great tribute to him and to the sport he loved so dearly
We will keep Colin's family and the Chapman community in our thoughts and prayers. RIP
