I'm curious on how many schools have their wrestlers travel to weigh on site for weekend tourneys.

Thats what we do i go to freestate and thats how we have always done it
As long as we are in Kansas we weigh in at our school. The only time we weigh in on site is when we go to Missouri. The big tournaments we weigh in on site to.

At Shawnee Mission East we normally weight in at our school, unless it's at a big tournament like in Topeka and so on.

We weigh in at our school also and we try not to cheat and have a teamate lift a cheek to make weight.
we weigh in at our school(SMS) most of the time. i dont see any problem with that because if your coach and AP are honest men then i dont feel that cheating should be an issue. yes there will always be some shaddy people but i can only speak for my team and say our coach would never cheat on our weigh-ins.

in kansas everyone weighs in at their high school unless it is the second day of a two day tournament or a regional or state tournament

Actually Hemm, all Kansas schools have the opportunity to weigh in at their home site, but that does not mean they all do. There are some schools that make their kids weigh in at the tournament on Saturdays, regardless if they would rather weigh in at home. I know my school weighs in at home, but schools like Lawrence Free State, Topeka High (I think) and others do not weigh in at home on Saturday tourneys, regardless.
